Growing food. Supporting children. Strengthening communities.
Every child deserves nutritious food and the opportunity to thrive. Through our vegetable gardens at Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres and in communities, we are helping people grow fresh produce and take practical steps towards greater food security.
Growing across communities
We have established vegetable gardens across KwaDukuza and in uThongati. Our work is expanding, with gardens being developed in Orange Farm, Gauteng, and at informal settlements around Brits and Krugersdorp.
Our commitment is to help people wherever we can. From ECD centres to informal settlements, the aim is simple: support communities to grow food for themselves and help put vegetables on children’s plates.
Thank you, Starkes
For more than two years, Starkes has stood alongside us and supported this work. We are deeply grateful for their continued generosity and commitment to helping communities help themselves. Together, we are helping turn the possibility of fresh food into something children can enjoy on their plates.
“Helping those who need a little bit of help to help themselves.”
